Michael Kors has signed a 10-year licensing agreement with Luxottica, the world's largest eyewear manufacturer.
The CEOs of both companies have commented that they are confident of the success of this partnership. The first collection with Luxottica will be released in January 2015 under both the Michael Kors and Michael Michael Kors lines. It will be available in Michael Kors stores, department stores, and Luxottica retailers around the world.
Luxottica owns brands such as Rayban and Oakley and manufactures eyewear for many luxury brands, including Chanel, Burberry, and Miu Miu.
