On April 25th, PARCO will open a new type of independently curated shop, "OMISE PARCO," on the fourth floor of the new central building at Narita Airport's Terminal 1 Passenger Terminal.
Under the theme of "Real Japan Now," the shop will combine elements of fashion and culture with functionality, traditional techniques, and technology to offer design goods that will make "life as a traveler" more enjoyable. The shop will gather together items from over 300 young artists, manufacturers, and international brands that have ties to existing PARCO-produced shops, Fukuoka PARCO's "once a month" and Shibuya PARCO's "Meetscal store by once a month." The lineup includes BEFORE MY BREAKFAST, which debuted in 2013, ANREALAGE's COLOR series, which changes color when exposed to ultraviolet light, Ieyes, a wallet brand known for its watercolor-like colors, The Porcelains, which expresses cross-stitch designs in Hasami ware, KOTORI, earphones with combinable parts, and Y2 International's Samurai Masks, which depict military commanders such as Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Other Japanese brands and items available include HANGESHOW, a swimwear brand created by the staff of YOSOOU, stationery brand MARKS, NINJA STRAP, a stretchable strap for SLR cameras, and STEAM CREAM, a moisturizing cream for the whole body packed in a can with a wide variety of designs.
