A New Fragrance Experience
Designed by minimalist designer Marc Newson, the striking Flacon d'Exception honors the iconic design spirit of Les Parfums Louis Vuitton, inheriting its unwavering purity of beauty.

"When designing the perfume Flacon d'Exception, I wanted to create something whimsical and fun, yet highly functional. It's almost sculptural in scale, and the combination of the dome and base was inspired by vintage fragrance displays."

This luxurious, one-of-a-kind Baccarat crystal bottle is paired with three iconic Louis Vuitton fragrances created by in-house Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud: Rose des Vents, Matière Noire, and L’Immensité.

Rose des Vents features a beautiful harmony of three roses. "Matière Noire" is a kaleidoscope of fragrances, blending Laotian agarwood and patchouli. "L’Immensité" combines the freshness of ginger, extracted using the Maison's unique CO2 extraction method, with the bitter taste of grapefruit for a truly refreshing and concentrated fragrance.

Designed for connoisseurs of exquisite beauty and refined perfumes, as well as collectors of rare fragrances and objects, "Flacon d'Exception" is a limited edition of 200 individually numbered pieces.

The perfume bottle, filled with one liter of perfume, is displayed in a glass dome, like an art piece, further enhancing the Maison's iconic creation. A collaboration between exceptional savoir-faire and the finest artisans
When Les Parfums Louis Vuitton conceives an extraordinary product, it brings together the Maison's unique savoir-faire and the finest artisans.

To celebrate this entirely handcrafted design, Louis Vuitton turned to Baccarat, boasting 250 years of crystal-making history and expertise. The result was a collaboration between skilled glassmakers, who used time-honored glassblowing techniques to shape the finest crystal into the bottle.

A black crystal cap, hand-painted in gold enamel with a circled Louis Vuitton signature, adds an exquisite touch to the bottle filled with the Maison's fragrance.

Set atop a natural-grained leather base crafted in the Louis Vuitton ateliers and adorned with the Maison's signature, the bottle exudes a sense of awe. This delicate and sleek leather will acquire a unique patina over time, a testament to the authenticity of Louis Vuitton's traditional material.

The Flacon d'Exception will be available in limited, numbered pieces at select Louis Vuitton stores from November 4, 2021.
