Starting May 10th, Patisserie Kihachi will be selling "Bespoke Shortcake," a custom-made cake with 240 possible combinations.
Bespoke refers to a tailor tailoring clothing to meet the customer's requests. With this cake, customers can choose their preferred size, dough, cream, fruit, pop-up card, and six options from an order sheet, and the patisserie will carefully craft each cake. There are also five different pop-up cards to choose from, so you can choose the one that best suits the occasion. Orders must be placed up to three days in advance, and prices start from 2,000 yen.
In addition, other anniversary cakes will be available by reservation only, including the ever-popular "Gâteau au Chocolat" (11cm, 2,800 yen / 16cm, 5,300 yen), "Fruit Tart" (15cm, 4,000 yen / 18cm, 5,000 yen / 21cm, 7,000 yen), "Mont Blanc" (15cm, 4,500 yen / 18cm, 5,500 yen), and "Square Fruit Shortcake" (30cm x 30cm, 20,000 yen *serves approximately 40 people).
