Seasonal melon parfaits, chunky fruits, rich cheese roll cakes, and more. Luxurious sweets to enjoy in early summer.

May 5, 2017

BAYCREW'S's J.S. PANCAKE CAFE, COUTUME Aoyama, and Bon Vivant locations will be offering sweets and drinks made with plenty of fruit.

From May 1st to 31st, J.S. Pancake Cafe will be selling the "Melon Parfait" (1,180 yen) from their "Premium Parfait Series." Topped with a large slice of melon, the parfait features melon sorbet layered with lightly sweetened whipped cream and vanilla ice cream, and a refreshing lime jelly base.

Also on the same day, Paris-based coffee shop COUTUME Aoyama will be offering "Tea Sparkling Chamomile" and "Tea Sparkling Earl Grey" (680 yen each, tax included), which are tea sparkling drinks infused with fresh fruit and herbs. Both drinks are based on homemade tea syrup made with organic tea leaves and filled with chunks of fruit like blueberries, pink grapefruit, and lemon, creating a refreshing drink perfect for early summer.

In addition, from May 16th to July 15th (subject to change depending on fruit harvest), sandwich and roll cake specialty store Bon Vivant will be offering sweets made with cream cheese, ricotta cheese, Camembert cheese, mascarpone cheese, and seasonal fruits. The lineup includes the "Double Cheese Roll" (480 yen including tax), which uses a generous amount of rare cheese cream on top of baked cheese, the "Honey Lemon and Cheese Cream Roll" (480 yen including tax), which is covered in rich cream cheese and honey-soaked lemons, as well as the "Mascarpone Cheese and Melon Tart" and the "Camembert Cheese and Fig Tart" (650 yen each including tax).
