HUGO & VICTOR releases limited edition Mother's Day chocolates made with violets and orange blossoms

Apr 26, 2017

Parisian sweets brand HUGO & VICTOR is selling "Carnet Mother's Day," a limited-edition Mother's Day chocolate, until May 14th.

Chef pastry chef Hugues Pouget created "Carnet Mother's Day" (2,800 yen), an assortment of three types of chocolates made with milk chocolate and flowers, inspired by Mother's Day in Japan. It contains two of each of the following chocolates: "Orange Blossom Sphères," with the gentle aroma and flavor of orange blossoms and a bittersweet aftertaste; "Hibiscus Sphères," with the exquisite tartness of hibiscus and the sweetness of caramel; and "Violet Ganache," with its sweet and fragrant taste of violets. The Carnet box for this edition is a limited edition, featuring a gorgeous red color and violet pattern.

The products are available at Omotesando Hills, Isetan Shinjuku, Futako Tamagawa Takashimaya, Marronnier Gate Ginza 2 and online shops.
