To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the serialization of manga artist Anno Moyoco's work "Ochibisan," an original art exhibition, "Ochibisan Exhibition at Kamakura 'Anno Residence'," will be held at the Anno Residence in Kamakura from May 23rd to 29th.
"Ochibisan" is a story set in Kamakura, a city teeming with the changing seasons. The venue, "Anno Residence," is the house where "Ochibisan" was born and drawn. Highlights of the exhibition include original drawings from the latest volume, volume 8, which will be shown for the first time, as well as original drawings, stencils, and tools, including portraits of beautiful women painted using the pochoir technique and botanical illustrations. Other highlights include four types of special admission tickets with the "Ochibisan title" as a bookmark, the garden where the plants depicted in the work live, and the library of books that Anno used as reference while writing. Official "Ochibisan" merchandise will also be on display and for sale.
