To coincide with the publication of Erika Kobayashi's short story collection, "She Looks into the Mirror" (Shueisha), a solo exhibition will be held at Gallery 360° in Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo, from May 12th to 27th. This collection of four short stories, depicting Kobayashi's extraordinary imagination and a vast timeline, marks a new frontier for her. This will be her fourth solo exhibition at the gallery, showcasing new works inspired by the gardens featured in her novels. The installation series attempts to depict invisible "light," including the roses blooming in the garden of Marie Curie's former Radium Laboratory in Paris, the ivy growing in Pierre Curie's garden, and the moss growing in the garden associated with the legend of Izumi Shikibu and Japan's "Type 2 Research" for the development of the atomic bomb.
>
A reception will be held from 6pm to 8pm on the 12th, the opening day of the exhibition.
