Harajuku coffee stand "artless craft tea & coffee" will be relocating and reopening under the Nakameguro elevated railway on May 12th.
Artless Craft Tea & Coffee is located in a space designed after a teahouse, with a craft theme. They offer carefully hand-dripped "single-origin coffee," each cup filled with a story about the country, climate, and production background.
After the relocation, the store will also house a new art gallery, "artless appointment gallery," by appointment only. Curated by Shun Kawakami, an internationally active artist and representative of artless Inc., the store's creator, the gallery plans to promote a variety of art, design, and culture through projects and exhibitions featuring artists from a wide range of genres, including photography, ceramics, and painting.
In addition, starting on May 12th, the first day of the reopening, the museum will hold its first special exhibition, a collection of works by photographer Hasui Motohiko, "Yume wo Miru." Valuable limited edition prints by Hasui will be available for purchase.
