Sweater lover Yasumichi Morita designs Lucien Pellat-Finet Ginza Six store

Apr 21, 2017

Lucien Pellat-Finet has opened a new store on the third floor of Ginza Six in Tokyo's Ginza district, designed by interior designer Yasumichi Morita. Known as the "King of Cashmere," the brand has previously collaborated with Morita on crystal vases and cut glassware, and Morita himself is well known for wearing Pellat-Finet sweaters and other items. While previous Pellat-Finet store designs have been created by designers such as Masamichi Katayama and Kengo Kuma, this is the first store designed by Morita. The new Ginza Six store subtly incorporates Japanese craftsmanship, such as woven bamboo shades, creating a luxurious, high-quality Lucien world. A full lineup is offered, including men's, women's, and children's clothing, jewelry, accessories, and collaboration items.

In addition, limited items available at the Ginza Six store include a jacket with Lucien's signature skull motif designed in crystals on the back and a high-quality Egyptian cotton T-shirt with the 17 logo.
