adidas Originals will release nine new models in the "NMD" series starting May 20th. Two models will be available at BEAMS stores in Japan first.

For the Spring/Summer 2017 season, the "NMD_R1 PK BY1887" and "NMD_R1 PK BY1888" (¥25,000 each) will be released in two monotone colorways based on the original "NMD" model. Featuring a one-piece molded Primeknit upper, the shoes offer a contemporary yet classic design, with a nostalgic gum sole paying homage to athletic footwear design.

The latest silhouettes, the "NMD_CS2 PK BA7188" and "NMD_CS2 PK W BA7213" (¥25,000 each), feature a wraparound one-piece molded Primeknit upper. The contrasting embroidered design on the inside of the shoe comes in two colorways: Core Black and Pearl Gray. The lineup includes nine models, including the "NMD_XR1 PK." The shoes are available at the adidas Originals Flagship Store Tokyo, adidas Originals shops nationwide, adidas Brand Core Stores (Sendai, Shinjuku, Shibuya, Nagoya, Hiroshima), the adidas online shop, atmos, and JOURNAL STANDARD. Beams will begin selling the "NMD_R1 PK BY1911" and "NMD_R1 PK BY1912" (¥25,000 each) in Japan starting on the 20th. The upper features a noise pattern graphic, while the EVA plug parts inserted into the BOOST midsole and distinctive heel patch are finished in tonal colors. Available in Running White and Linen Khaki.

General release will begin on the 27th at Adidas Originals shops nationwide and the Adidas online shop.
