adidas Originals will release its new "CLIMACOOL" shoes for the Spring/Summer 2017 season on May 18th.

While retaining the materials of the original model that debuted in the early 2000s, this new series features a full mesh upper made of Climacool material that provides 360-degree breathability, a distinctive TPU toe box, overlay parts in the mid-speed area, and a textile lining for a comfortable fit. The classic EVA midsole is equipped with ADIPRENE(R)+ at the tip for propulsion and support, and the shoe is finished off with a bold outsole design featuring multiple wavy grooves.

The series will feature a total of 14 models. The unisex models will feature two colorways that celebrate adidas' traditional shoe designs. The "BA7163," which combines pure white with a gum sole, and the bold bright cyan "BA7157" (16,000 yen each) will be released. Additionally, women's models include the white-based "BB2877" and the primarily black "BB5303" (16,000 yen each). Available at the adidas Originals Flagship Store Tokyo, adidas Originals shops nationwide, adidas Brand Core Stores (Sendai, Shinjuku, Shibuya, Nagoya, Hiroshima), the adidas online shop, all atmos stores, and BEAMS.
