Glorious Chain Cafe will be offering its "Premium Eggs Benedict" (1,950 yen including tax) starting June 1st. Eggs Benedict, one of the restaurant's most popular dishes, is usually made with ham, but the premium version upgrades to pancetta made with free-range pork from Hokkaido that has been aged for three months. The sauce is made with eggs from Anan City, Tokushima Prefecture, which are sourced from chickens raised on rice grown in Tokushima Prefecture, and is topped with a rich, white hollandaise sauce. The dish is topped with truffle oil and freshly shaved truffles, and is served with a creamy truffle paste on the side, allowing you to enjoy the truffle flavor in two ways. The dish is topped with a salad topped with macadamia nuts in a homemade vinaigrette dressing, and crispy fried gnocchi sprinkled with truffle salt on the side, completing the special dish.
