The cycling event "Tweed Run Tokyo 2016" will be held on October 23rd during "Amazon Fashion Week TOKYO 2017 S/S."

In recent years, traffic violations and illegally modified bicycles have become social issues. The London-based cycling event "Tweed Run" promotes safe cycling and the joy of cycling through the city. The event also promotes cycling as a fashion scene, with a unique dress code requiring participants to wear tweed items such as jackets, pants, vests, and hats.

In addition to the fifth annual event in Tokyo, a similar event titled "Tweed Run Bishu 2016" will be held in Handa City, Aichi Prefecture, on December 3rd. Participants must be 18 years of age or older and regularly ride bicycles. The participation fee is 5,000 yen. Entry details are available on the "Tweed Run Tokyo" official website.
