An "Antique & Vintage Jewelry" promotional event is currently being held in the men's accessories section on the first floor of Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building. It runs until September 16th.
The event showcases antique jewelry and accessories sourced from the UK and other European countries for a limited time. All of the items on display date from the early 19th to early 20th centuries, and their intricate carvings and natural stone accents showcase the exceptional craftsmanship of the time. Some are in excellent condition, even complete with their cases. Simply browsing the exhibit is a luxurious experience.
Prices range from around ¥30,000 to over ¥1 million. The most expensive item is a bracelet with a black-themed cameo, priced at ¥3.24 million. Other items worth seeing include a 22-karat antique locket (¥1.62 million) and a vintage platinum diamond ring (¥1.404 million). Most of the items are one-of-a-kind.
This will be the second time the event has been held at the Men's Building, and the lineup of motif items has apparently increased compared to the last time. With autumn truly upon us, be sure to find your favorite item.
