Harper's Bazaar (published by Hearst Fujingaho) will release a special edition of its November issue, on sale from September 20th, featuring Audrey Hepburn's granddaughter, Emma Ferrer, on the cover.
The edition is limited to 2,000 copies and is available at select bookstores and on Amazon (pre-orders are currently being accepted). Emma will also be on the cover of the magazine's digital version. Emma made her modeling debut on the cover of Harper's Bazaar for US subscribers, and the November issue features an eight-page feature featuring her portrait and bare face. Emma was photographed by Michael Avedon, grandson of photographer Richard Avedon, who collaborated with Audrey Hepburn on various occasions at Harper's Bazaar in the 1950s. Other features include "ICONS BY CARINE ROITFELD," featuring 17 women, including Lady Gaga, who graces the cover of the regular edition, dressed in the latest fashions; and "FABULOUS AT EVERY AGE," featuring five Japanese women of different ages, including Rina Ota in her 20s, Rinko Kikuchi in her 30s, and Rinka in her 40s, sharing their current thoughts. Harper's BAZAAR, previously published bimonthly, will be published 10 times a year starting with the March issue, published January 20, 2015. Emma was born in Switzerland as the eldest daughter of Sean Ferrer, son of Audrey Ferrer. She moved to Los Angeles at the age of two and began studying art and ballet. She has lived in Florence, Italy, since the age of 14.
