Ralph Lauren held an event in Central Park on September 8th to celebrate the opening of its New York flagship store (711 Madison Avenue New York, NY), the first flagship store for the POLO label. The event featured a fashion show showcasing the new Polo Ralph Lauren Women's 15SS collection, and attracted celebrities from all over the world. In addition to the spectacular production using a water screen projection (4D projection mapping on the water surface), a stellar lineup of guests participated, including singer Ciara, actor Ben Stiller, US Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, designer Diane von Furstenberg, photographer Bruce Weber, socialite Ivanka Trump, models such as Hilary Rhoda, Karlie Kloss, Chanel Iman, and Kendall Jenner, and members of the Korean idol group Girls' Generation.

The newly opened store has a total floor area of 35,000 square feet (3,255 square meters) over three floors. The interior is American-style, and monitors installed in the store will broadcast Polo's first women's runway show. The first floor will feature Polo's men's line, including sportswear and a denim section focusing on Polo denim. The second and third floors will feature the newly announced women's Polo collection, offering a wide range of items from dresses to denim, and will also feature Ralph Lauren's first coffee shop, "Ralph's Coffee."
