Japan-Korea-Singapore Joint Fashion Event! AKB48, Girls' Generation, Tsubasa Masuwaka, Rola, and More Appear

Jun 19, 2013

One of Singapore's largest fashion events, "ASIA STYLE COLLECTION by style×style.com (ASC)," will be held at Singapore Expo on the 22nd.

The one-day-only special stage will be a collaboration between "K-POP Collection," produced by South Korea's Seoul Broadcasting System, and "Tokyo Girls Collection," featuring models and artists representing each country. Opening artists include AKB48 and SNH48, and guest performers include singers AI, Thelma Aoyama, Mai Kuraki, models Kozue Akimoto, Rina Fujii, Tsubasa Masuwaka, Mikiko Yano, Rola, and Vocaloid Hatsune Miku. Representing South Korea will be the girl groups Girls' Generation and 2NE1. Participating brands include AZUL by moussy, KIKKA THE DIARY OF, MURUA, and OLIVE des OLIVE, and the Japanese pop culture booth will feature Tokyo Otaku Mode, a website promoting otaku culture. ASC presents Asian trends, primarily from Japan, Korea, and Singapore, as a unique entertainment show that combines fashion and music. Entertainer Noriko Sakai's appearance was scheduled six months ago, but several Japanese companies participating in the event expressed reservations due to a series of stimulant drug scandals, leading to the sudden cancellation. All of the Chinese companies scheduled to participate, where Sakai has a large fan base, protested this move and withdrew their sponsorship.
