Carolina Herrera launches breast cancer campaign app

Sep 25, 2014

New York-based lifestyle brand CH Carolina Herrera has launched a smartphone app as part of its campaign to eradicate breast cancer.

The brand was founded by Carolina Herrera, the founder of Carolina Herrera, and her daughter of the same name. The mother and daughter launched "Support with Smile," a program aimed at supporting women with breast cancer, and have been working together for the past five years.

The photo app "CHPink Smile" can be downloaded for free from iTunes or the Google Play Store. When you take a photo, a heart-shaped smiley face appears on the screen, and you place it over the mouth. By adding the hashtag "#chpinksmile" to your photo and sharing it on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, the app aims to raise awareness and recognition for the fight against breast cancer. You can also make donations through the app.
