Caroline Kennedy, the first female U.S. ambassador to Japan, made waves. As a descendant of one of America's most aristocratic families, her elegant fashion sense is undeniable. At the credentials ceremony held at the Imperial Palace, she attracted much attention in a black dress by Carolina Herrera. Ambassador Kennedy's relationship with the brand is so strong that Ambassador Kennedy's friend, the founding designer, Mrs. Herrera, sent a congratulatory message on Facebook. Her love for CH is so well-known that it was even officially announced by the U.S. Embassy. On May 1st, she appeared in a tweet by Daito Manabe of Rhizomatiks, a company that produces concerts and events. She was seen wearing a limited edition Perfume tote bag over her shoulder. Apparently, the ambassador's eldest son is a huge Perfume fan, and the family attended the final concert at Tokyo Dome in December 2013.
