"Gourmet Street Food - Tokyo Gourmet Food Stalls" will be held on April 29th and 30th in the courtyard of the United Nations University in Aoyama, Tokyo.
The street culture scene continues to update with the times in various fields, including fashion. While the street food industry has traditionally been characterized by low-class gourmet food and festival stalls, this event marks a departure from that tradition, as the first in a project aimed at building a new food culture through the unconventional style and free-thinking that only the street can offer.
This event, centered around the theme of "wheels," will feature over 30 of Tokyo's most iconic food carts, allowing visitors to enjoy street food and drinks. Numerous wheel-related stalls, including those for industrial vehicles, skateboards, bicycles, and tricycles, are also scheduled to take part. There will also be live music, including a BMX show by W-BASE, a bicycle specialty store in Shibuya.
