On June 27th, Jonathan Anderson's new LOEWE line was unveiled at Paris Men's Fashion Week for the Spring/Summer 2015 season. Collection looks, shot near Cádiz, Spain, were also released. The photos were taken by Jamie Hawkesworth, a longtime friend of Anderson's. LOEWE, founded 168 years ago, has entered a new phase. The theme of this first collection is Anderson's "hypernormal style," a style that has always been characteristic of Anderson, who has always pursued shareable, everyday wear. Anderson's modernity and LOEWE's timelessness combine to create a youthful, everyday, yet luxurious, men's wardrobe that's ready to wear. Anderson's signature style is maintained, with dresses, relaxed cut-and-sew tops, shirts, and skinny knitwear. The use of LOEWE fabrics adds elegance to the looseness and drape. His graphic color combinations are also characteristic of the brand. The collection features subdued olive and camel tones, boldly combined with black, bright green, blue, and red. The geometric mark on the left chest of the knitwear was inspired by the assembly model of British toy manufacturer Meccano. Similar accessories are also produced. The bottoms are rolled up to reveal the white lining, another symbol of Anderson's design preference for "contrast." The brand's signature leather items included rider jackets, MA-1 jackets, and waterproof parkas. All of them had a supple and soft feel. The iconic Amazona and Flamenco bags were also updated. A travel bag essential for jet-setters was also included. Wraps were frequently used, from cool stoles to heavy cashmere blankets. Warm-looking items adorning the neckline symbolically featured the new Loewe logo, sewn on. The design, composed of simple curves, was created by M/M (Paris).

The women's collection will be released in September, and is sure to attract even more attention.
