Summerbird Organic, a luxury Danish chocolate brand, will open its first chocolate boutique in Japan on February 13th (located at 5-5-20 Minami-Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo).

Summerbird Organic was founded in 1986 by chocolatier Mikael Gronlykke with the concept of "inspiration from nature." "Summerbird" is the English translation of the Danish word for "butterfly." Mikael Gronlykke travels the world, focusing on sourcing the most delicious ingredients from expert farmers. Currently, the company is certified 100% organic by the Danish government and offers bean-to-bar products of the utmost quality.

The boutique, the brand's first in Japan, will have an area of approximately 100 square meters. The cafe also has a chocolate lab where you can relax and enjoy the brand's signature sweet, "Cream Kisses" (600 yen per piece), in three flavors: classic, amber, and white. "Cream Kisses" is a traditional sweet beloved by children and adults alike in Denmark. It is 100% organic, made with an almond paste base and a marshmallow-like meringue cream thinly coated in delicate chocolate. The cafe also offers 100% organic menu items such as organic tea, coffee, and chocolate drinks, all served on Royal Copenhagen tableware.
