Starting September 16, 2021, Cassina ixc. Co., Ltd. will be exhibiting a variety of living room coordination ideas, including new Cassina pieces, at its directly managed stores under the theme "LIFE CRUISE - Living Room Dialogues."

■Exhibition Concept
The living room is the primary place in the home where people gather and communicate. Modern living rooms have become more multipurpose than ever, incorporating dining spaces, kitchens, and workspaces. Over the past year, we have had more opportunities to reflect deeply on communication with others. Whether through direct conversation or communication via communication devices, people deepen their bonds and feel more connected. Living rooms will also play an important role in communication in the new era.
This exhibition will feature six types of sofas, including new pieces from Cassina, and introduce coordinations that tell the stories behind each sofa, illustrating the types of communication that will be generated in each living room.

2021 Autumn/Winter Collection Theme: “Art Gallery”
The lifestyle goods arriving this season have been selected with a focus on hard textures, sculptural designs, and noble materials. Geometric and unique items bring an artistic atmosphere to the space, and the selection of distinctive and special items creates a world view that is reminiscent of a collector's art gallery.
■Special Art Exhibition: "Private Conversations"
Our first photo exhibition, "Private Conversations," will be held at “DELL'ARTE”, the permanent art gallery on the second floor of our Aoyama flagship store.

You meet someone important for the first time in a long time. You know there's something you want to talk about, but you find yourself stammering. At times like these, you can't help but look for conversation starters in the room. Perhaps a vase of seasonal flowers, or a piece of furniture you're drawn to pick up.
Photographs on the wall can also mediate our relationships. And the more distant and unfamiliar the subject of a photograph, the better. This scene, equally distant from us, awakens memories hidden within each of us, encouraging a slow conversation. The trapped monochrome light may connect us to the scenery forgotten at the end of a long journey.
This exhibition features only monochrome photographs, and was planned to provide an opportunity for unexpected dialogue.
