YUKI FUJISAWA will be hosting a special event, "NEW VINTAGE by YUKI FUJISAWA," at the Pass the Baton Kyoto Gion store in Sueyoshicho, Kyoto, from May 3rd to 14th.
Following on from the event at the Pass the Baton Omotesando store, this event will be held at the Kyoto Gion store. "NEW VINTAGE" is a series offering one-of-a-kind pieces created by dyeing and printing vintage clothing. This time, the event will feature European hand-embroidered dresses made in the early 1900s. These dresses have been passed through the YUKI FUJISAWA filter and dyed in Japanese indigo and jet black tones over the course of 100 years.
Featuring traditional Japanese dyeing, the event will feature handcrafted indigo dyeing in Tokushima and black dyeing in Kyoto, as well as YUKI FUJISAWA's signature foil, adding color and breathing new life into the pure white dresses. This event will give you a sense of destiny as you experience a rare encounter between delicate hand embroidery, which is no longer made, and the traditional Japanese indigo color that continues to this day.
