The "Bicycle Expo 2016: Moulton Exhibition - The Wonderful World of Small-Wheeled Bicycles" will be held from May 3rd to 31st at ITOCHU Aoyama Art Square in Aoyama, Tokyo.

The "Bicycle Expo" is an exhibition that ITOCHU Aoyama Art Square has been holding since 2013, coinciding with Bicycle Month in May. This fourth edition, titled "Bicycle Expo 2016: Moulton Exhibition - The Wonderful World of Small-Wheeled Bicycles," will examine and showcase 22 bicycles from the precious collection of Alex Moulton, who made major strides in bicycle development in the late 20th century with advances in suspension and other advancements, and was awarded the Order of the British Empire. The exhibition will feature models ranging from vintage models from the time of their debut to the latest models.

A variety of related events will also be held during the event. During the event, a stamp rally will be held at bicycle shops and cafes, and the cafe will also offer a limited-time menu. On May 5th, there will be a talk show by bicycle adventurer Masanori Nishikawa, on May 8th there will be a "Moulton Owners Club" meeting for Moulton owners, and on May 13th there will be a talk show by bicycle commuters Satoshi Hikita and Jun Utsumi, who cycle to work every day. In addition, on May 19th there will be a gallery talk by Kyoichi Yamaguchi, an internationally active motor journalist, and Takahiro Aoki, the exhibition's supervisor, and on May 29th there will be an event where you can test ride small-wheeled bicycles such as Moultons, as well as works by Tokyo Cycle Design students.
