WORLD BREAKFAST ALLDAY, a cafe restaurant in Gaienmae serving breakfast dishes from around the world, will be serving a "Cuban Breakfast" (¥1,500) from May 10 to July 3. While rice is often the main staple in Cuba, breakfast is bread. Popular dishes include the bocadito, a fist-sized slice of bread stuffed with ham, peppers, and cheese, and the Cuban sandwich, featuring roast pork seasoned with mojo, a garlic sauce. This time, the popular bread dish will be paired with a plate of tropical fruits, fried green bananas, and boiled cassava, all paired with strong Cuban coffee brewed in an aluminum coffee machine. Also available are national drinks like the refreshing mojito criollo, with plenty of mint and lime; rum-based cocktails; and desserts like the rich Cuban pudding known as flan. During the event, a number of events, including workshops related to Cuba, will also be held.
