Pass the Baton launches leather stationery "born from pumps" at Shinjuku Isetan

May 3, 2016

From May 9th to 24th, PASS THE BATON will be holding the "Loved Leftovers: A Beautiful Stationery Exhibition" in the Personal/Promotion section on the 5th floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building.

"Loved Leftovers" is PASS THE BATON's original design series made from fabric and leather left over from the manufacturing process of many items such as clothes, shoes, and bags. The exhibition will feature stationery goods from this series, created in collaboration with SHOESbakery using leather left over from the pump production process.

Items on display include notebooks from Notemaker LIFE (from A6/550 yen), Katsushika Celluloid cases (1,800 yen), A5-sized notebook covers (10,000 yen), pen cases (5,000 yen), and business card cases (6,000 yen). The exhibition will introduce items that have been stored in warehouses but have been remade with a touch of style and ideas, creating new value.
