Hirakata T-SITE, operated by Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd., will open on May 16, 2016, at the south exit of Hirakatashi Station in Osaka, on the former site of the Kintetsu Department Store. The company opened its first TSUTAYA store in Hirakata City in 1983. The opening is a symbol of gratitude and gratitude to the place where it was founded.

Hirakata T-SITE will house 43 shops, centered around TSUTAYA and Tsutaya Bookstore, focusing on lifestyles such as food, kids, and beauty. This will be the third T-SITE after the Daikanyama and Shonan locations, and will be the largest in terms of number of stores to date.

Open from 7:00 AM to 1:00 AM, the facility offers a wide range of shopping experiences, from early morning bread and freshly baked bread to letting children play during the day, to reading a book with a cup of coffee in one of the 300 chairs located on the first through fifth floors. Based on the concept of "a department store you'll want to visit every day," the facility offers a style that is tailored to your everyday lifestyle.

■B1F/1F--Floors centered around food, with ample eat-in space

The first floor, by the main entrance, is home to approximately 8,000 food-related books. Shops include The Grounds Baker, a bakery where you can eat freshly baked bread from 7am, Fujimaru Shokudo, where you can enjoy homemade wine, and verde CHIOSCO, a flower shop with a colorful selection of flowers. A food market selling fresh meat, fish, and vegetables is scheduled to open on B1 in the summer of 2016.

■ 2nd Floor -- Enjoy strolling around TSYTAYA with your smartphone in hand

This is the "TSUTAYA" floor where you can rent CDs, DVDs, comics, and more. You can check CD and DVD stock and reviews using the smartphone app. The same floor also plans to hold free events and workshops where you can experience live music. It will also house the first Apple shop in Hirakata where you can receive full service.

■ 3rd Floor -- A relaxing space for reading with a cup of coffee

This floor is designed to be comfortable, allowing you to sit back and read a book with a cup of coffee in hand. This floor is also home to a wide selection of fashion and art-related books, and also houses "T-TRAVEL," which is packed with travel information. At the back of the floor, you'll also find "Kaneko Glasses" and a selection of stylish stationery, sure to pique your intellectual curiosity.

■ 4th Floor -- A floor for lifestyle and beauty aimed at adult women

The 4th floor, with its seven-meter-high atrium and bookshelves lining the walls up to the ceiling, is a space that proposes fashion and beauty products for adult women, with a focus on a general goods market with over 15 stores open at all times. It also houses @cosme, which stocks popular cosmetics, and hair S.COEUR×Cu, which offers comprehensive hair care, head therapy, and nail salon services, where counseling is also available.

■ 5th Floor -- Full of play equipment! A floor that will put a smile on the faces of moms and kids

The 5th floor has been designed so that moms and kids can spend time together, even while they're in the same space. It's packed with play equipment provided by Bornelund, which will make you feel like you're in an outdoor park, as well as a spacious play area just for babies. The floor also suggests ways for kids to play freely while moms relax and enjoy tea. The floor also houses children's clothing and miscellaneous goods, as well as Sarah House, a photo studio with a Southern France-inspired studio set where you can take commemorative photos for Shichi-Go-San and birthdays, making it a floor where moms and kids can have fun.

■6th/7th floors -- Relax at a stylish, spacious bank
This is a bank floor where you can also get advice on your life plans. The stylish interior remains the same, with Mitsubishi Tokyo UFJ Bank on the 6th floor and Resona Bank on the 7th floor. You can also read a book while you wait, making for a meaningful way to spend your time.

■8th floor -- Restaurant floor with ample terrace seating

This restaurant floor was designed with fond memories of dining on the rooftop of a department store in mind. The extensive lineup includes the famous Xiaolongbao restaurant "Jing Ding Lou," the tofu and yuba shop "TSUMUGI by Ume no Hana," and the restaurant and cafe "MEAL TOGETHER ROOF TERRACE," where you can enjoy a BBQ without bringing anything. All restaurants also have terrace seating, creating an open space with a panoramic view of Hirakata.

The facility has also launched a digital service that allows for convenient shopping with the smartphone app "Hirakata T-SITE Passport." This app allows you to use your T-Card, make restaurant reservations, and check parking availability. A new commercial facility has been born that makes your stay even more comfortable by making full use of your smartphone.
