
The Ise-Shima Fair will be held from May 25th to 31st at the Food Fair on the first basement floor of Matsuya Ginza.
The fair will sell ingredients and prepared dishes related to Ise and Shima in Mie Prefecture, and offer game dishes and other dishes in an eat-in area. T.Y. Farm, a farming group in Ome, Tokyo, run by farmers who have inherited the organic farming methods of Ise's "artisans of the soil," will introduce vegetables that are stylish, healthy, and look great in salads. The lineup includes arugula, beets, kale, coriander, Italian parsley, fennel, wasabi, French breakfast dishes, and more (priced from 301 yen to 1,401 yen). On the first day, all three farmers will be there to greet visitors and sell their carefully grown vegetables.
In addition, gibier dishes using Mie venison, prepared by Chef Nishida Zotaka, who served as section chef at Italy's two-star Michelin restaurant LA TORRE DEL SARACINO, will be available for eat-in and take-out. Dine-in menu items include cold-pressed juice (501 yen) made with pesticide-free vegetables such as "beetroot x sweet orange" and "fennel x komatsuna," as well as "venison ragout and spinach piadina" (801 yen), "Matsusaka pork porchetta and selvatico piadina" (801 yen), and "herb salad mix" (501 yen). Merchandise items for sale include "Mie gibier venison sausages" (721 yen) and "Matsusaka pork porchetta" (801 yen). Additionally, Mie Terrace, an antenna shop selling Mie Prefecture specialties, will be serving Italian dishes overseen by Chef Shinichi Sato of Il Desiderio in Minami-Aoyama, using Mie's abundant seasonal produce from the sea, mountains, and countryside. Menu items include "Salted Sardine Fish" (681 yen), "Kachobi" (1,080 yen), "Mie Terrace's Homemade Matsusaka Beef Roast Beef with Special Red Wine Sauce" (1,901 yen), "Matsusaka Beef Special Meat Sauce" (2 servings/1,901 yen), "Matsusaka Beef Hamburg Steak Topping" (2 servings/1,901 yen), "Italian Sandwich Panino" (702 yen), "Tuscan-Style Stew of Three Kinds of Matsusaka Beef Offal" (800 yen), "Summit Commemorative Beer" (594 yen), and "Saku Megumi no Chi Junmai Ginjo Sake" (100ml/497 yen).
