Alexander Wang will hold a show during New York Fashion Week in September, mixing his Resort and SS17 collections on the runway.

Similar to the strategy he has used for his men's collections and T by ALEXANDER WANG collections over the past few seasons since 2017, Alexander Wang's Resort collection will be presented to buyers and press in the form of an exhibition, but look images will be released when the collection hits stores. At the show, some Resort collection items, bags, and shoes will be mixed with the SS17 collection. This is intended to shorten the time between the announcement and release of the collection, as delivery for the SS17 collection begins in January 2017, while delivery for the Resort collection begins in November 2016.
