J.S. FOODIES, a food specialty shop created by JOURNAL STANDARD, opened its Enoshima branch on August 3rd (1st and 2nd floors of Enoshima Terrace, 2-18-21 Katase Kaigan, Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture). Offering a menu spanning international cuisine, including hamburgers, pancakes, and smoothies, J.S. FOODIES opened its first store in Toyosu in January last year. The highlight of the second store, the Enoshima branch, is the "Lobster Roll (by LUKE'S)," a signature dish from New York lobster restaurant LUKE'S. This allows customers to easily enjoy lobster, a dish rarely available in Japan. To commemorate the opening of the Enoshima branch, a limited-edition hamburger using Yamayuri beef, a brand of beef produced in Kanagawa Prefecture, is also available. In addition, the Enoshima store will offer exclusive menu items, including fluffy, chewy pancakes made with domestic wheat and fermented butter from "J.S. PANCAKE CAFE." These exquisite pancakes, with a refreshing and mellow flavor, are sandwiched between marmalade made from Shonan Gold oranges, a rare orange that Kanagawa Prefecture has spent 12 years developing, and topped with a rich, homemade milk sauce. Also, to coincide with the opening of the Enoshima store, a fried food specialty store, "J.S. FRIED UP," will be opening. Guests can enjoy freshly fried dishes such as fish and chips and fried chicken.
