Parco holds autumn festival "Traveling Parco Wagon" in the heart of Shibuya. Proposing a new way to enjoy Japanese culture

Aug 5, 2015

Parco will host the "Traveling Parwagon: Dig & Play Japanese Culture" pop-up event at Shibuya Parco and the surrounding area for a total of seven days, from October 2nd to 4th and from October 9th to 12th, proposing new ways to enjoy Japanese culture.

The theme of the event is "Dig & Play Japanese Culture." The concept is to travel around the country in a mobile "Palwagon" and discover (dig) Japanese culture (dig) and enjoy (play) it everywhere.

The event will provide an "Autumn Festival" where you can experience Japanese culture in a new way. Adorable original sushi will be sold, created in collaboration with Mishima Foods' Temari Sushi, winner of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award in 2008, and several other creators. Parco and the creators will also be offering a lineup of sake selected by Parco and the creators from sake breweries across the country.

In addition, a wagon will be available where you can easily rent and try on yukata from the kimono and yukata brand "FuriFuri" at a low price. Tokyo Rikisha, a long-established rickshaw company from Asakusa, will also be appearing at Parco. Guests will be whisked around Shibuya in cute rickshaws customized exclusively for Parco.

The "Traveling Parwagon - Dig & Play Japanese Culture" event will take place at Shibuya Parco, Koen-dori Plaza, in-store event spaces, and various locations within the building.
