On August 21st, MARNI will open its first men's accessories shop in the Kansai area. Located near the Shijo Kawaramachi intersection in the heart of Kyoto's downtown area, the shop will be located on the first floor of Kyoto BAL (251 Yamazakicho, Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture), a commercial facility that reopens after a hiatus of approximately two years and seven months. The shop will primarily stock shoes, bags, and accessories from the collection line, as well as the full lineup of the MARNI x PORTER collection, which has enjoyed immense popularity since its debut in December 2013. Incidentally, this is the only store in the Kansai area offering the full lineup of this collection. Furthermore, the sixth installment of the MARNI x PORTER collaboration, which will be released nationwide from late August, will be available from the opening day, ahead of the rest of the country. Limited-edition items not available at other stores will also be available. A limited edition all-black model of the leather sneakers featuring a thick leather band, which was introduced in the 2015-16 AW collection, as well as sneakers that will be exclusive to two stores, Marni Men's Accessories Shop and Hankyu Men's Tokyo, will also be released.
