HEELEY, a fragrance brand founded by perfumer and designer James Healy, will release its new fragrance, "HEELEY Extrait de Parfum Phoenicia Natural Spray" (50ml, 23,000 yen), on September 1st.
The brand's fragrances, created using high-quality ingredients and traditional blending techniques, are characterized by their modern and unique scents and can be used by both men and women. The brand is stocked in select shops that attract fashionable customers, such as the long-established Parisian brand "Colette" and Milan's "10 Corso Como," and this new fragrance was first released in Milan last year, generating a great deal of buzz. The new Healy Extrait de Parfum Phoenicia Natural Spray evokes a journey to Phoenicia, an ancient maritime civilization that dominated the vast coastline stretching from Lebanon (ancient Babylon) in the southern Mediterranean to Israel, North Africa, Cyprus, and southern Spain. The Phoenicians brought to Europe a wealth of products, including "Til Purple," a fabric dyed with a noble reddish-purple dye; wine; glass; ceramics; gold; silver; copper; exotic fruits such as dates; spices; and precious aromatic woods. This fragrance features notes of dates and raisins, complemented by sandalwood, agarwood, birchwood, and Javanese vetiver. The new fragrance, along with 12 other fragrances (100ml each, 17,000 yen), is available at Isetan Shinjuku Men's Store and Hankyu Men's Tokyo. The lineup includes Cardinal, which has a fresh, clean, linen-like scent that gives a feeling of coolness and vitality, Figur, which has a refreshing scent like that of fig trees, and Lis de Nuit, which has a subtle, enchanting iris scent.
