The British fragrance brand Laboratory Perfumes has arrived in Japan for the first time. Four eau de toilettes (100ml, 13,500 yen each) and candles (300g, 8,500 yen each) featuring four different scents will be released on September 28th. Laboratory Perfumes, which was founded in London in 2011 by fashion entrepreneur Aaron Firth, offers four fragrances inspired by British flowers, herbs, and aromatic botanicals, blended primarily with natural essences. The lineup includes the original Amber, followed by Gorse, Samphire, and Tonka. Evoking the harmony of the Atlantic countryside and coastline of the British Isles, Amber is a long-lasting fragrance characterized by layered notes. It opens with grass and driftwood, harmonizing with the energy of the morning, accented with rich spices. Finally, woody earth and soft amber evoke the approach of night. Inspired by summertime in the British Isles, Gorse opens with a refreshing citrus scent. Gorse flower and coconut add a subtle depth of cardamom. Seaside-inspired Samfire features base notes of basil, rosemary, white amber, and oakmoss. Tonka, crafted from a variety of South American spices, features a top note of pink pepper. Finally, the intoxicating scent of tonka bean, vanilla, and tobacco envelops you in a captivating finale. These items will be available in advance at The Conran Shop Shinjuku Main Store, Marunouchi Store, Kyoto Store, etc. on August 21st, before being released nationwide on September 28th.
