Maserati Japan Co., Ltd. will release the special edition "F Tributo" to commemorate the achievements of the 250F, the most iconic racing car in Maserati's history, driven by Juan Manuel Fangio.
On April 25, 1926, Maserati's first racing car, the Tipo 26, won the 1,500cc class at the Targa Florio with Alfieri Maserati. On January 17, 1954, Maserati made its F1 debut with the 250F driven by Juan Manuel Fangio, and rose to the pinnacle of global motorsports. At the 2021 Shanghai Motor Show, Maserati unveiled the F Tributo, inspired by the brand's competitive history and ties to the racing world. The F Tributo honors the achievements of the 250F and is a special tribute to Fangio. This limited-edition model is available in two exclusive colors: "Rosso Tributo," inspired by the red that most embodies Italian motorsports, and "Azzurro Tributo," inspired by the bright, vibrant blue symbolizing historic Modena. Based on the Ghibli and Levante, each model is limited to 14 units (seven of each color). In addition to the interior and exterior, the exclusive gloss black Tributo logo is featured on the fenders and C-pillars, making this an extremely rare and special model. Pre-orders will begin on August 2, 2021, at authorized Maserati dealerships nationwide.
