The 2015-16 Fall/Winter collection from UNIQLO's collaboration with Inès de la Fressange will be available from September 4th. This collection showcases styles that bring out the beauty of sophisticated women, as if taken from a scene from a French film from the 1940s or 1950s. The soft jackets, which gradually become more comfortable with wear, are crafted from a wide variety of materials, including tweed, wool, and corduroy. The shorter length makes them easy to pair with skirts. The light and soft Chester coat, like a cardigan, is made from reversible wool, a first for UNIQLO. Also featured are knitwear that exudes a nostalgic yet fresh look, and ski sweaters reimagined with a vintage vibe, featuring cable knitting, Nordic patterns, and Inès de la Fressange's beloved fawn motif. The collection features designs and colors that complement the winter sky and snowy landscapes. Other items available include shirts, skirts, pants, and dresses. The colors are deep shades inspired by French nature, such as the forest green of fir trees, which is a symbolic color of Europe for autumn and winter, and vin chaud, which resembles mulled red wine.
The collection will be available at Uniqlo stores nationwide and on the online store. In addition, a special floor dedicated to the Ines Collection will open on the 12th floor of the Uniqlo Ginza store from September 4th.
