With Alessandro Michele as creative director, the new Gucci introduced a new lace-up boot (4.5cm heel, 219,000 yen) in the 2015-16 Fall/Winter collection.
The design, with its sexy, thin shoelaces and black mink pompoms at the end, subtly adds a feminine touch, symbolizing Michele's new Gucci worldview. The cutout details and sparkling gold half-moon heel give it a modern impression. The square toe, which is showing signs of a trend, and the back zip closure, which allows for easy on and off, are also attractive.
On the runway, the boots presented a romantic look, paired with beige-pink all-lace mini dresses and tulle dresses.
