Lace graces Dolce & Gabbana's collections every season. Its roots lie in Sicily, a place that remains a perpetual source of inspiration for the brand. Located in the Mediterranean Sea, Sicily has long been a place where the cultures of its neighboring countries have intersected, passing down a wide range of artisanal techniques. Lace, in particular, holds great cultural and social value, having been passed down from mother to daughter and then granddaughter as a part of a bride's dowry. A pop-up store offering a full experience of the world of lace, inspired by the Dolce & Gabbana spirit, "Lace - A Sicilian Fascination / Fascinating Sicilian Lace," will be open from October 5th to 11th at The Stage on the first floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku. The pop-up will be selling a number of Japan-exclusive items specially created by designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana.

The Dolce Bag Interio series will feature two new models exclusive to Japan, featuring leather cutwork to create a "lace" look. The square handbag comes in white and black, while the rectangular shoulder bag comes in white, pink, and black.



These pumps and flats are available exclusively in Japan and feature lace all over and large sparkling jewels on top. They come in two colors, pink and black, and the pumps have heels available in 9cm and 6cm.


The clothing range includes a wide variety of items, such as zip-up blousons made with lavish amounts of lace featuring leaf and flower motifs, cashmere cardigans, and skirts. Also noteworthy is the trench coat with a leopard print liner and lace accents on the hem and cuffs.


In addition, a new pink color reminiscent of cherry blossoms has been added to the popular Dolce Shopping bag, a standard bag sold only in Japan. Wallets and key cases in the same color are also being sold in advance as Japan-only items.


And for this pop-up, a craftsman who has been working with lace-related products at the company's atelier in Italy for many years has come to Japan. During the event, you will be able to see up close how lace dresses are sewn.
