Lace is an essential element of Dolce & Gabbana's DNA. A pop-up store focusing on the allure of lace, "Lace - A Sicilian Fascination," will open from October 5th to 11th at The Stage on the first floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku.
Sicily, where Dolce & Gabbana's roots lie, is home to a wide variety of artisanal techniques that have evolved over the centuries and continued to this day. One such example is lace, passed down from mother to daughter and then to granddaughter as part of a bride's dowry, reflecting the times and customs. It is a part of history shaped by family memories and faith.
This pop-up store will feature a wide range of Japan-exclusive items, from wardrobes to bags, shoes, and accessories, all designed with a focus on the allure of lace. The collection will include dresses with various lace accents, popular twin knits, zip-up blousons, cardigans, and skirts, as well as Dolce & Gabbana's signature trench coat, featuring a leopard print liner and lace at the cuffs and hem.

As for bags, the new "Interio" series will be added to the "Dolce Bag" line. The bag features a romantic look with delicate lace created through leather cutwork, and can be carried in two styles: shoulder or hand. It comes in three colors: black, pink, and white. The Japan-exclusive "Dolce Shopping" bag will also be available in a new pink color, and the lace shoes with decorative jewels will also be available in black and pink.
