AKIKO AOKI and KEISUKEYOSHIDA will hold a joint exhibition of their 17SS collections from October 28th to November 2nd at Omotesando Rocket Gallery on the third floor of Omotesando Hills Dojunkan.
Until last season, AKIKO AOKI and KEISUKEYOSHIDA had presented their collections at "Tokyo New Age," a project bringing together young designers produced by Mikio Sakabe and Yoshikazu Yamagata. On October 22nd, they presented their 17SS collections in their first solo show at "FASHION PORT NEW EAST," held at Miyashita Park in Shibuya, Tokyo. The event, held at Omotesando Rocket, will feature the newly released 17SS collection and the first pre-order session.
In addition, AKIKO AOKI will be releasing his first limited edition zine, "Hymne l'amour.", to coincide with the exhibition. The book includes visuals from Akiko Aoki's 16-17 Autumn/Winter collection, shot by up-and-coming artist Takako Noel. In addition, accessories and goods from Chinami Tokizawa, who collaborated on this season's showpiece, will also be on sale. Keisuke Yoshida will be holding an order event for his latest collection, "reborn," which captures the emotions and scenery of the struggle to be reborn, as well as pre-sales of T-shirts to accompany the announcement of collaboration items with photographer Kusano Yoko.
