Levi's premium line, Levi's® Made & Crafted™, has collaborated with Off-White c/o Virgil Abloh, a fashion brand deeply rooted in contemporary culture, to release a capsule collection. The collaboration was born out of a shared passion for contemporary fashion, capturing the essence of street style and high fashion. Jonathan Chan, head of global design at Levi's, commented, "Inspired by Virgil's intelligent and transcendent streetwear philosophy, this collection captures reality and is deeply versed in street style, while also paying homage to the artistic expression of high fashion. It's as if Levi's® Made & Crafted™ is building on Levi's magnificent heritage and gazing into the distant future. It's this element of unexpectedness that energizes this project with Off-White." The collection was designed at Levi's latest research and design laboratory, Eureka Innovation Lab, and was completed by Levi's design team and Eureka Lab's Bert Saito, working with Virgil and his team, spending 19 hours a day. Based on the 501(R), Virgil has added his own sense as an architect and DJ to Levi's classic jeans and trucker jackets, remixing them with clean, modern, and contrasting, expressive colors.
