Mori Building is renovating Laforet Harajuku Matsuyama, which closed in 2008, and reopening it as a mixed-use facility.

The new facility will be 13 stories tall, with a total floor area of approximately 11,000 square meters, and will consist of a hotel, commercial facility, and bridal facilities. The hotel, which will occupy floors 5 and above and feature an open-air observation bath on the top floor, will be operated by Candeo Hotels, while the bridal facilities will be operated by Nippon Ceremony, the first of their kind in the Shikoku area, and are scheduled for completion in the summer of 2015.

The commercial facility Laforet Harajuku Matsuyama opened on this site in 1983. It closed in 2008, and discussions on reconstruction plans and discussions with the landowner began. In 2009, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism decided to provide a subsidy for the development of excellent buildings, etc. It is located at the northern gateway to Okaido, Matsuyama City's central commercial district, in an area densely packed with government offices, large commercial facilities, and hotels, and is easily accessible from the ropeway to Matsuyama Castle, so it aims to become the "face of Matsuyama City."
