Nakano Central Beer Park, the area's largest outdoor beer garden, will open at Nakano Central Park for three months from July 1st to September 30th. This year marks the second anniversary of the event, and its concept is "a sophisticated urban resort space that can be enjoyed by everyone, from families to office workers." The first event last year attracted approximately 27,000 visitors over two months, so this year's event will be twice as large (approximately 1,487.6 square meters, approximately 400 seats) and last 1.5 times longer. The venue will be divided into four zones, each operated by four different companies. While following a common concept, each company's unique features will allow visitors to enjoy four completely different beer parks in one location. Congress (Bar Congresso) will offer an area focused on food, drinks, and space. Barnibarbi will offer beer and other dishes such as a "barbecue" that will give you a camping-like feeling. Footnik will have an international menu with dishes from over 12 countries, while Monte Rosa will offer a bar menu with a "resort food stall" theme.
The venue's lighting will be handled by lighting designer Hiroshi Uchiki, who was also responsible for the Roppongi Hills Sky Illumination. Guests can enjoy a variety of beers and menu items in a nostalgic space lit by 450 lanterns in warm colors and greens.
