CHANEL has released a new TV commercial for its fragrance "COCO MADEMOISELLE." As in the previous two films, Keira Knightley appears as the muse, flirting with men in a silver-toned metallic club and on the Seine River, with the British pop group The Zombies' debut single "She's Not There" playing in the background. While she wore a red dress in the first film and a jumpsuit in the second, this time she wears a white dress. The commercial is directed by Joe Wright, who also directed Keira's films "Pride & Prejudice," "Atonement," and "Anna Karenina."
Keira has been using Coco Mademoiselle since before she was appointed muse, and apparently likes it because "it's a fragrance that gives you confidence without being overly sweet for women." Her favorite scene in the commercial is the one set on the Seine River, which begins at 4 a.m. She commented, "Watching the sunrise on the Seine was an amazing experience. She (the woman played by Keira in the commercial) is elusive. Being there is a play, and leaving on a speedboat is the best part."
The commercial will air on Nippon Television, TBS, Fuji Television, and TV Asahi in the Kanto region, and on Yomiuri Television, Mainichi Broadcasting System, Kansai Television, and Asahi Broadcasting in the Kansai region from May 9th to 25th. The full 60-second version of the film is available on YouTube.
