As part of the Brazil Fair hosted by Isetan Shinjuku, Bonjour Records has opened a limited-time shop, "Boa Tarde Records," on the 3rd floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku. The shop will be open until May 6th.
Bonjour Records, which selects CDs, books, fashion items, and more with its unique aesthetic sensibility, will offer Brazilian music CDs and DVDs, books featuring Brazilian music, and miscellaneous goods. Selected artists include Joyce, Elis Regina, and Egberto Gismonti. You can also listen to the music for sale in the store. The store's name, "Boa Tarde," means "hello" in Portuguese (bonjour).
One thing worth noting is the merchandise bearing the "Boa Tarde Records" logo. Original merchandise made specifically for this event will be on display, including T-shirts, tote bags, mugs, tumblers, and iPhone cases.
The same space will also host an in-store live bossa nova performance by Brazilian singer-songwriter KEISSY COSTA on the 3rd and 4th. (Two performances will be held each day, from 1pm and 3pm.)
