Dunhill releases Samurai Blue "match uniform" ahead of Brazil World Cup

This year, in preparation for the FIFA World Cup Brazil, the official suit (¥190,000) for the Japanese national soccer team, the Samurai Blue, designed by dunhill, will be available at dunhill boutiques nationwide on April 27th. The suit is made through the brand's custom order program. Crafted from Super 100s wool, it features a Prince of Wales check pattern woven in deep navy and light blue. The inside of the suit features the Samurai Blue team emblem sewn into it, along with the words "Made Exclusively For JAPAN NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM," marking it as an official Samurai Blue suit. The jacket features a single two-button design with notch lapels, side vents, and slant pockets. Trousers are available in all styles available through dunhill's custom order program, including flat front, single pleat, and flat front with side adjusters. The entire process from order to completion takes approximately two months. Also being released at the same time are a shirt accented with a light blue gusset (28,000 yen), a tie made of 100% navy silk with a polka dot pattern featuring a soccer ball motif in Samurai Blue (17,000 yen), a tie bar with a diamond pattern and blue lines on the side (23,000 yen), and a reversible belt made of navy Bourdon leather and black smooth cowhide leather, inspired by Samurai Blue (28,000 yen).
