Shiseido has signed official sponsorship agreements with three public interest incorporated foundations: the Japan Swimming Federation, the Japan Gymnastics Association, and the Japan Volleyball Association. Shiseido is now the official sponsor of the Japan national swimming and water polo teams, the All-Japan men's and women's volleyball teams, and the Japan national beach volleyball team, as well as the official top sponsor of the Japan national gymnastics team. The company aims to create "Japan's future beauty" by supporting athletes' activities through tangible and intangible assets related to health and beauty. Starting with the All-Japan Gymnastics Individual All-Around Championships, held May 9-11, Shiseido's logo will appear on interview boards, signs, official printed materials, and athletes' apparel at tournaments hosted by the three organizations. Going forward, Shiseido will further enhance athletes' appeal through the development of sports-related products and beauty software, as well as marketing and strengthening of events, thereby enhancing corporate value and promoting activities that contribute to the "creation of a beautiful lifestyle."
