Coach has announced that it will open its flagship store, "Coach Shinjuku," in Shinjuku, Tokyo, in the fall of 2014. This will be Coach's fifth store in Tokyo and its 10th flagship store in Japan.

Coach has tapped Studio Sofield, led by designer William Sofield, as creative advisor to develop its next-generation store concept, and the new store will be the first in Japan to adopt this new concept.

Stuart Vevers, Executive Creative Director of Coach Inc., commented, "William and I share a desire to create something completely new for Coach, something unique in the luxury sector. We want to create a space where customers can experience Coach's authenticity, confidence, modern sensibility, and comfort."
